Bamboo Learning Site

Just thought that I would post a link to the Bamboo Learning site.
This is the online educational system that teaches children Mandarin Chinese.
Here is the link:
http://mandarama.com/homepage
I didn't create the Panda on the main page, just characters for the game , on the title page and the game of Bingo itself; which you can see and play if you click on the Chinese Fooksie above.
Have fun and pick up a little Mandarin, too!

Sprint cartoon #4

This cartoon was part of a series of cartoons that I created for Sprint, in conjunction with Deardorff Communications.
It was such a great project because I have always wanted to do a comic strip, and because I loved the scripts' use of animal characters to portray problems and solutions.
There were 5 strips in the series, with each one taking a few days to complete, ( roughs, changes, final approval, then the finished strip).
Each strip was created in Flash.

King Tut and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition

At the beginning of last year, I was quite busy creating this Tut character for an exhibition company.
They would be using the illustrations in posters and other things for the King Tut touring show.
It will be coming to Atlanta some time this year. It will be a kick to see my work in a museum setting.
(...Aaron...I did this in Flash...) : )

Carrier commercial

As I said, I am currently working on an animated commercial for Carrier in New England.
This is the main character, a dog. I like the design, but am still playing around with the colors.

The Captain

As the news said, this is the character I am pitching to Gayborhood.TV.
I just have to find some time to do a quick animation of him for the ASIFA-ATLANTA
Roll yer Own show in May.

Cow-human cross / Friday Freak #14

First it was the Japanese mixing cow DNA with whales, and now this?
It gives a whole new meaning to the word "cowboy ".
Thankfully, I can use this article to not only create a Daily Cartoon, but also a Friday Freak.
